💨 Abstract
An Australian computer scientist, Craig Wright, who claims to have invented bitcoin, is accused of contempt of court for filing a $1.18 billion lawsuit against Jack Dorsey's payments firm, Block, in Britain. A court previously found that Wright did not write the foundational bitcoin text and forged documents. Wright is appealing the ruling, and a hearing to determine if he is in contempt will be held in December. His lawsuit against Block has been put on hold.
