Tencent Holdings, the world's largest video game company, reported an 8% increase in third-quarter revenue, primarily due to growth in its gaming business following the release of new titles. The company, which also operates the WeChat messaging platform, generated revenue of 167.19 billion yuan ($23.14 billion) for the quarter ending Sept. 30, meeting analyst expectations.
