officials have announced that a ninth telecommunications company has been added to a list of entities compromised by a Chinese-linked cyberespionage operation known as Salt Typhoon. The unnamed telecom was added after the U.S. government shared guidance on how to detect and defend against the operation, which has previously been alleged to have targeted Verizon, AT&T, Lumen, and others.
