💨 Abstract
In the early 1950s, director K Asif forcefully recruited composer Naushad for his film Mughal-e-Azam, famously tossing cash onto Naushad's harmonium. Despite being an unknown entity in Indian cinema, Asif had a vision for the epic and refused to compromise. The film faced financial setbacks, actor replacements, and production delays but was eventually released in 1960.
