Deolira Gliceria Pedro da Silva, a 120-year-old Brazilian great-grandmother, is attempting to claim the title of the world's oldest living person from a 116-year-old Brazilian nun. Although the Guinness World Records has not confirmed receiving her application due to numerous claims from around the world, Pedro da Silva's family and doctors are confident she will soon hold the title.
