💨 Abstract

The Palisades wildfire in Los Angeles is spreading eastward, burning over 22,000 acres and consuming more homes, despite air and ground firefighting efforts. The fire has reached the Mandeville Canyon neighborhood and threatens upscale Brentwood and the San Fernando Valley. Strong wind gusts of up to 70 mph are expected, posing further danger.
