💨 Abstract
A man, Ryan Routh, has been charged with pointing a rifle towards Donald Trump's Florida golf course in an alleged assassination attempt. Prosecutors claim he wrote a letter offering a bounty on Trump's life several months earlier. Routh has a criminal history and was arrested with a list of dates of Trump's appearances. The Secret Service spotted the weapon and Routh fled, but did not fire at Trump.
