On Tuesday, an Israeli airstrike in Beirut killed a senior Hezbollah commander, Ibrahim Qubaisi, escalating cross-border attacks and raising fears of a full-scale war in the Middle East. The conflict has resulted in over 569 deaths and 1,835 injuries in Lebanon, with thousands displaced. Lebanon's foreign minister called on the US, Israel's ally, to help end the fighting.
