A recent DNA study found that a 60-year-old ancient Egyptian man had 20% of his ancestry traced to the Mesopotamian region, highlighting significant genetic connections. Living around 4,500-4,800 years ago, his remains were unusually well-preserved in a ceramic vessel, allowing for successful DNA extraction.
