💨 Abstract
Antigua and Barbuda's parliament member Asot Michael was found dead at his home with a stab wound and other injuries, and police are investigating the incident as a murder. The lawmaker had previously served as a minister in the Prime Minister's cabinet but had a falling out and left the ruling Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party. Michael was elected as an independent last year. The Prime Minister expressed sorrow over the incident and promised support for the police investigation.
