💨 Abstract
More than fifteen people were killed and dozens injured in Syria's Druze city of Sweida due to sectarian clashes between Druze gunmen and Bedouin Sunni tribes. Violent flare-ups began after several kidnappings, including a Druze merchant abducted Friday. The last significant incident occurred in April, but now violence has spread within the city. Analysts express fear of continued clashes leading to a bloodbath.
