💨 Abstract
Hurricane John, which ravaged Mexico's Pacific coast for a week, has left 22 people dead, with the hardest hit state being Guerrero. Guerrero's 18 fatalities are mainly due to mudslides that crushed houses. Three deaths were reported in Oaxaca, and one in Michoacan. The hurricane brought floods and landslides.
