đź’¨ Abstract
The Bangladesh Ministry of Foreign Affairs has refuted India's allegations of mistreatment of Indian fishermen, stating the claims as baseless and fabricated. The MOFA asserted that the fishermen were treated appropriately and the allegations undermine the spirit of trust between the two countries. The reciprocal repatriation of 90 Bangladeshi and 95 Indian fishermen was successfully completed on January 5, 2025.
