đź’¨ Abstract
Bangladesh authorities have increased security measures for the upcoming Durga Puja festival, a nine-day Hindu celebration set to take place from October 9 to 13, due to concerns about potential violence against the minority Hindu community. Over 32,000 puja mandaps (pavilions) will be secured by police, with three levels of security put in place pre-festival, during the festival, and during idol immersion post-festival.
