💨 Abstract

A Bangladeshi youth-driven party, the National Citizen Party (NCP), formed after the 2024 uprising, faces internal revolt due to its alliance with the Islamist group Jamaat-e-Islami. At least 30 senior leaders have opposed the move, with some resigning. The NCP, driven by Gen-Z activists, aims to challenge traditional power structures but risks losing its identity and unity.
