💨 Abstract

Bangladesh's interim government led by Muhammad Yunus announced the preparation of a "proclamation of July uprising" to consolidate the people's unity, anti-fascist spirit, and state reform, distancing itself from a similar declaration by the Anti-Discrimination Students Movement. The proclamation is expected to bury the 1972 Mujibist constitution and declare the deposed premier's Awami League irrelevant.
