💨 Abstract

A 55-year-old man died in a bear attack while mushroom picking in a forest near Hybe, Slovakia. The incident occurred in an isolated area near the High Tatra mountains. The victim was with another person at the time. This is the first bear-related death in Slovakia since 2021.
