President Biden has approved the Alabama Emergency Declaration following Hurricane Helene, allowing federal aid to help the state recover. Eligible counties include Houston, Barbour, Bullock, et al. Federal aid, distributed at 75% federal funding, will help restore critical infrastructure, services, homes, and economic vitality. The aid is available for state and local government officials and will also provide additional funding for those affected by severe storms.
