💨 Abstract
US President Joe Biden has authorized the creation of a Women's Suffrage National Monument on the National Mall to honor the women's suffrage movement, commemorate the ratification of the 19th Amendment, and recognize the generations of women who fought for equal rights in the U.S. democracy. The monument will also acknowledge leaders who continued to fight for women's enfranchisement after the 19th Amendment was ratified.
