💨 Abstract

NATO allies Germany, Poland, Britain, France, and Italy plan to swiftly implement new NATO targets for weapons and troop numbers, as agreed upon by the alliance. The new targets are expected to be decided this summer, earlier than originally planned, in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine and pressure from the U.S. to increase defense spending.
