💨 Abstract
Boeing reportedly withheld critical information on a flight control system flaw in its 737 Max aircraft from Ethiopian Airlines pilots while sharing it with US pilots, according to a New York Times report. The information could have potentially helped Ethiopian pilots prevent a crash that killed 157 people in March 2019. Boeing denied the information citing a legal provision and providing technical support to Indonesian authorities investigating a previous crash.
