💨 Abstract
Brazil has accepted Nigeria as a partner country in the BRICS multinational bloc, with the African nation joining the group due to its "converging interests" with other members and its role as the 6th largest population and the largest on the African continent. Nigeria becomes the ninth country, alongside those primarily in Latin America, Eastern Europe, and Asia, to join BRICS.
