💨 Abstract

Transdniestria, a breakaway Moldovan region, cut off heating and hot water supplies to households on Wednesday due to Russia halting gas supply via Ukraine. This is after the expiry of a gas transit deal between the two countries. The local energy company urged residents to dress warmly, conserve heat, and avoid using stoves for heating due to the risk of tragedies.
