💨 Abstract

Turkey was offered 'partner country' status by the BRICS group, according to Trade Minister Omer Bolat. Turkey has expressed interest in joining the group, which includes Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Ethiopia, Iran, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates. The offer was made during a BRICS leaders' summit in Kazan last month, attended by Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.
