💨 Abstract
Amidst tensions between India and Canada, Jagmeet Singh, leader of the New Democratic Party, urged the Canadian government to sanction Indian diplomats and ban the RSS in Canada due to allegations of Indian officials' involvement in violent criminal activity, including the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. The Canadian government expelled six Indian diplomats in response. India accused Canadian PM Trudeau of hostility and providing space to extremists.
