💨 Abstract

China conducted an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) test on September 25, 2023, launching a dummy warhead into the Pacific Ocean. The test was part of their annual training plan, according to the Chinese Defense Ministry, and not directed at any specific country or target. This marks the first atmospheric test of an ICBM by China since 1989.
