💨 Abstract
Japan and China's foreign ministers held talks in Beijing, paving the way for Japan to host China's foreign affairs chief next year. Both countries agreed to hold a security dialogue as soon as possible, and an economic dialogue during the 2025 visit. Japan raised concerns over security, including China's installation of a buoy in their exclusive economic zone and increasing military activity.
