Chinese, Myanmar, and Thai officials agreed on Tuesday to eradicate telecommunication fraud centres in Myanmar, arrest leaders of criminal syndicates, dismantle the centres, and coordinate the rescue of trapped individuals. This comes after China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi called for strong measures against online gambling and telecom fraud in Southeast Asia.
