💨 Abstract

A Chinese court has sentenced a 52-year-old man to death for stabbing a Japanese woman, her child, and a bus attendant in June 2022. The man, who became indebted and lost interest in living, was found guilty by a court in Suzhou, China. The Japanese government has expressed serious concern over the unprovoked attack and urged China to ensure the safety of its citizens.
