Union Minister Pabitra Margherita congratulated Mexico on Claudia Sheinbaum's swearing-in as their first female President. Sheinbaum, a climate scientist and former mayor of Mexico City, received nearly 58% of the vote in the June elections and will be the first Jewish leader of Jewish heritage to hold the office. India looks forward to strengthening its partnership with the new Mexican government.
