💨 Abstract

The Climate Investment Funds (CIF) issued a $500 million debut bond to diversify funding sources and attract private sector investment for low carbon technologies in emerging markets. The bond, priced at 36.6 basis points over Treasuries with a coupon of 4.75%, was six times oversubscribed.
