💨 Abstract
The Roman Catholic Church will hold a secret conclave starting May 7 to elect a new pope, following the death of Pope Francis. Around 135 cardinals under the age of 80, from across the world, will participate in the election. Due to many cardinals having never met each other, Swedish Cardinal Anders Arborelius expects the conclave to take longer than the previous two, which lasted only two days.
