India's relationship with the US has made steady progress over the last five presidencies and will continue to grow irrespective of the election outcome, according to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. He also expressed optimism about the Quad, a grouping with the US, India, Australia, and Japan, retaining its importance. Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong echoed this sentiment.
