💨 Abstract
Japan Airlines (JAL) experienced a cyberattack on December 26, causing delays of up to an hour for at least 14 domestic flights and disruptions to some international flights. The airline suspended ticket sales for all flights that day and contacted the Metropolitan Police Department for investigation. JAL is working to counteract the attack, temporarily shutting down the compromised router. Passengers with existing bookings were advised that their bookings remained valid.
