A new tropical storm, Dikeledi, is approaching the French overseas territory of Mayotte in the Indian Ocean. The Mayotte prefecture has issued a cyclone pre-alert, advising residents to prepare for high winds, heavy rainfall, and potential marine submersion. The storm is expected to pass about 140 km south of Mayotte on Saturday night and Sunday, following its passage over Madagascar.
