France's overseas territory of Mayotte is being put on a red alert due to an approaching tropical storm, Dikeledi. The red alert requires residents to stay in solid dwellings and cut off power. This follows the devastation caused by cyclone Chido last month. The storm is expected to bring heavy rainfall and high winds to Mayotte on Saturday night and Sunday.
