💨 Abstract
A magnitude 6.3 earthquake struck off the island of Crete in Greece on Wednesday, at a depth of 83 km, according to the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ). The tremor was also felt in Egypt, where the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics recorded a magnitude 6.4 quake 431 km off the northern coast. No casualties or property damage were reported in Egypt.
