💨 Abstract
The EU imposed four new sets of sanctions on Russia over the Ukraine war, targeting its shadow fleet, chemical weapons, human rights, and hybrid threats. The 17th package, part of these sanctions, aims to curb Moscow's tanker networks that bypass the G7 price cap on Russian oil. The EU will push for a lower price cap at the G7 finance ministers' meeting in Canada.
