💨 Abstract
The EU ambassador to Tbilisi, Pawel Herczynski, warned that Georgia's ties with the EU may deteriorate and sanctions could be imposed if the country deviates from democracy, particularly during the Oct. 26 parliamentary election. He stressed that the EU would not accept Georgia as a member if it becomes a one-party state with no political opposition.
