💨 Abstract

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has issued a warning to non-European airlines not to fly within western Russia airspace due to the risk of being unintentionally targeted by Russian air defense systems. The warning comes after the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines plane in Kazakhstan last month, which was shot down after Russian air defenses engaged Ukrainian drones.
