Azerbaijan, the host of COP29, has offered to cover the travel, accommodation, and other expenses for negotiators from climate-vulnerable small islands to attend the U.N. climate summit. This move aims to ensure inclusivity for island nations highly exposed to rising sea levels. COP29 is scheduled for November 11-22 in Baku.
