The Reuters/Ipsos poll found that 47% of Americans approved of Donald Trump's presidency following his return to the White House. His popularity was higher than during most of his 2017-2021 term. However, Americans were already critical of some of his first moves, including pardoning people convicted of crimes related to the Jan. 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol.
