💨 Abstract
Tunisian President Kais Saied is predicted to win the presidential election with 89.2% of the vote, according to local exit polls, with only minor competition from two other candidates, Zouhair Maghzaoui and Ayachi Zammel. The election was held with no significant opposition to Saied, who has faced criticism for undoing democratic gains in the country. Voter turnout was slightly below expectations at 27.7%.
