In the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, Palestinian health authorities report that more than 46,600 people have been killed, with over half being women, children, or elderly. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict began in October 2023, with Hamas militants crossing the border into Israeli communities.
