💨 Abstract
South Korea's Constitutional Court will hold a hearing on Friday to decide if President Yoon Suk Yeol should be removed following his impeachment over a short-lived martial law decree. Yoon's presidential powers are suspended but he remains in office. If the court removes Yoon, a presidential election must be held within 60 days. The court must reach a unanimous decision as there are three vacancies among the nine justices.
