💨 Abstract
Toxic smog has engulfed Lahore, Pakistan's second-largest city, for several days, making it the world's most polluted city, according to IQAir. The air quality index (AQI) score of 1165 is over 120 times the levels recommended by the WHO. The pollution is caused by emissions, dust, smoke from farming, poor-quality vehicle fuel, construction, and industrial activities.
