An Indian student named Ravi Teja from Hyderabad was shot dead in New Haven, Connecticut while pursuing his Masters in Science. His family and friends are requesting the Indian government to bring back his mortal remains. Indian consulate in New York expressed condolences and offered assistance. AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal expressed concern about the safety of Indian students abroad and the need for better education facilities in India.
