💨 Abstract

A fire in a retirement home in Villafranca de Ebro, Spain, has resulted in the death of at least 10 elderly residents, all suffering from mental health issues. The blaze started in one room and was contained, but the fatalities were due to smoke inhalation. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire. The priority now is to transfer the injured residents to a nearby care home.
