💨 Abstract
A 22-year-old Azerbaijani citizen was diagnosed with mpox (previously known as monkeypox) in Baku, Azerbaijan. The patient had recently returned from an international trip and is currently hospitalized. The ministry and TABIB did not specify the destination of the trip. The patient's family members, who were in contact with him, have shown no signs of the disease and are under home observation.
