💨 Abstract
Hungarian farmer Laszlo Batki suffered a substantial loss after his organic crops were flooded by the River Danube, one of the worst floods in central Europe in two decades. The floods have caused widespread damage, killing 24 people and leaving towns in mud and debris. Batki, who aims to be a model for sustainable farming, plans to adapt by switching to more traditional crops for future floods.
